There are many ways to document a process, including narrative descriptions, step-by-step instructions, job aids, procedure manuals, and process maps. Sometimes you only need one of those techniques and sometimes you need a combination. During this webinar, Scott Helmers, partner of Harvard Computing Group, discusses advantages and disadvantages of each, but will focus most of our attention on process maps. 

You'll evaluate key reasons why process maps are often the preferred documentation choice and propose several best practices for creating truly usable maps. You'll also compare several common mapping styles including flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and BPMN diagrams.
